Cynthia Pedersen has a strong background in tax advisory services. Cynthia began their career at Right Size Law LLC as a legal intern, where they gained experience in personal injury and family law. Cynthia then worked at the Maryland Court of Appeals as a legal intern. After that, they joined Wase, Wase & Grace LLC as a law clerk, specializing in elder law and estate planning. Cynthia then became an attorney at The Law Offices of Thomas M. Donnelly, LLC.

In 2014, Cynthia joined Arthur Bell: CPAs & Advisors as a tax advisor, where they conducted extensive research on issues related to hedge fund managers, investors, and tax exempt organizations. Cynthia later became a senior tax advisor and the chair of the tax department Quality Control Committee.

Cynthia's most recent role is with Cohen & Company, where they initially served as a tax advisor, focusing on hedge funds, international tax compliance, tax exempt organizations, and estate succession planning. Cynthia then progressed to become the director of tax advisory services. Cynthia is also actively involved in Cohen's growing cryptocurrency tax practice.

Throughout their career, Cynthia has demonstrated their expertise in taxation, estate planning, and high net worth individuals. Cynthia has a strong understanding of complex tax issues and emphasizes maintaining high ethical standards in their work.

Cynthia Pedersen completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Towson University in the years 2004 to 2008. Cynthia then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, graduating cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law between 2009 and 2012. Following that, they obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree with a focus on Taxation at the University of Baltimore School of Law, from 2013 to 2014.
