Beatrix De Wilde

Beatrix De Wilde has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Beatrix most recently worked at Cohere as an Engineer starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Instagram, where they worked on the Instagram Ranking - Creator Monetization team from September 2021 to February 2023.

Beatrix also has experience at Microsoft, where they held the role of Software Engineer 2 from July 2019 to September 2021, and as a Software Engineer from July 2017 to July 2019. Beatrix worked on the Bing Voice Search Team, focusing on allowing users to search using voice commands.

Earlier in their career, Beatrix worked at Strava as a Software Engineer from April 2016 to September 2016. Beatrix gained experience in the finance industry as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where they implemented a system for testing metrics using Javascript and Java.

Beatrix's work experience also includes a role as an Undergraduate Researcher at Imperial College London, where they contributed to automated testing and user interface development for first-year computing students. Beatrix started this role in June 2014 and ended in August 2014.

Lastly, Beatrix worked as an intern at Tech Cube in Edinburgh, where they assisted in programming a property website and gained exposure to various start-ups within the incubator. Beatrix held this position from July 2013 to August 2013.

Beatrix De Wilde completed their education from 2009 to 2017. Beatrix started their educational journey at George Heriot's School in Edinburgh and attended from 2009 to 2013. Beatrix then pursued higher studies and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with an International Programme of Study in Computing from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, in 2015 and 2016, they participated in the Education Abroad Program at the University of California Santa Barbara, focusing on Computer Science.
