Avani Sama

Avani Sama is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as a Software Development Lead at Pure Storage since October 2019, Avani has contributed to the redesign of the control path for Flashblade products, developing features in Go and managing hardware and software integrations. Previously, as a Software Developer, Avani focused on enhancing product reliability within the same product line. Prior experience includes work at Riverbed Technology on SDWAN solutions, and roles at Texas A&M University as a Graduate Assistant and at ZS Associates as a Business Technology Associate. Avani's foundational experience includes an internship at Broadcom, optimizing audio codec algorithms. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.
