Kemi Tijani

Kemi Tijani has diverse work experience in sales partnerships and account executive roles. From 2022 onwards, Kemi will be working as the Head of Sales Partnerships at Cohere. Prior to this, Kemi worked as an Account Executive at Cohere from April 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Cohere, Kemi worked as an Account Executive at Google from January 2021 to April 2022. Prior to that, Kemi was self-employed and served as an Independent Information Technology Consultant from April 2020 to January 2021. Kemi also had significant roles at Microsoft, where they worked as a Principal Partner Technology Strategist from July 2018 to September 2019, and as a Snr. Solutions Specialist from October 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, Kemi worked at Dell EMC as a Channel Sales Manager from September 2016 to January 2017. Kemi's experience also includes working at Konga Online Shopping Ltd as the Head of Retail Performance Management from January 2013 to July 2013, and at Jumia - Rocket Internet GmbH as a Business Development Consultant during an MBA internship in July-August 2012. Kemi's earlier roles include working as a Technology Business Partner at ETA Zuma Group Limited from February 2009 to July 2011, and as a Full Stack Web and Mobile Developer at Hex AZ Limited from November 2006 to February 2009.

Kemi Tijani completed an MBA degree in Strategy and General Management at INSEAD in the year 2012. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, which include Kellogg: Insights & Analytics from Kellogg Executive Education in November 2018, Microsoft-INSEAD Value Negotiation from INSEAD Executive Education in April 2018, Microsoft-INSEAD Online Business Strategy and Financial Acumen from INSEAD Executive Education in June 2015, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020.
