Chad Conger

Chad Conger has a diverse work experience in the beauty and chemical industries. Chad currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Technology at Cohere Beauty since 2022. Prior to that, Chad worked at Marianna Industries from 2017 to 2022, holding the position of Vice President of Research and Development, Quality and Regulatory Compliance. Here, they led a technical team and was responsible for driving innovation, new product development, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.

Before joining Marianna Industries, Chad worked at Coty from 2016 to 2017 as the Sr. Director of Research and Development for OPI, where they led a team to support innovation plans for the professional nail brand. Chad also worked as the Director of Research and Development at OPI Products, Inc. from 2014 to 2016.

Chad's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Research Chemist at Revlon Professional Brands from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for product development and management of acrylic coating and UV cure systems. Chad also worked as a Research Chemist at CND from 2005 to 2012.

Chad started their career as an intern in Production and Quality Assurance at Kamco Plastics in 2001 and later worked as a Visiting Scholar/Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Bio-molecular Engineering Lab in 2003.

Chad Conger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering, which they obtained from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in the same field at the same institution from 2002 to 2003.
