The Field Engineer will serve as the subject matter expert and work directly with prospects/customers to present the technical capabilities, addressing technical architecture, integration approaches, security, data strategy, and participate in solution workshops.

  • Act as the subject matter expert on the functional and technical aspects of our products
  • Deliver standard and custom functional / technical demo support and messaging
  • Oversee POV technical demo support
  • Lead, drive, and execute technical support for complex prospect/customer evolutions
  • Support RFX proposal process by researching and providing technical responses
  • Work directly with prospects and customers to deliver presentations, white board discussions and demonstrations, to determine how our
  • solutions can meet their specific needs
  • Travel when required, anticipate up to 10% of total time
  • Other duties as assigned or required by management

What skills the candidate will need to get the job done…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or similar programs, or 4+ years of work experience
  • Excellent profiling and debugging skills in Excel
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced Excel topics such as Macros/VBAs, Solvers, Lambdas, etc.
  • Ability to use Python and/or R to perform ETL/ELT, including automation tasks and data visualization.
  • Basic understanding of end-to-end platform integration
  • Strong and polished presentation skills
  • Experience in complex sales situations and/or customer escalations
  • Ability to self-manage and multi-task

Nice to Have…

  • Five (5) years or more of experience as a technology consultant, sales engineer, software engineer, or similar role

  • Previous experience working directly with customers

  • Business experience in Insurance/Financial Services
