Ben Coffer

Ben Coffer began their professional career in 2007 as an Undergraduate Research Internship at the Solid Freeform Fabrication Lab in the University of Michigan Mechanical Engineering Department. In 2008, they moved to the Precision Systems Design Lab in the same department as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. In 2009, Ben became a Graduate Research Assistant at the Noise, Vibration, and Motion Control Lab in the University of Michigan Aerospace Engineering Department. In 2012, they joined Coherix as a Senior Software Engineer, later transitioning to a Research and Development Engineer.

Ben Coffer completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2009 and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2012. Ben also obtained a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in January 2019 and a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in March 2017.
