Philip Velez

Philip Velez has over 20 years of experience in human resources and organization development. Philip currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Coherus BioSciences, a role they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Fluidigm Corporation from February 2020 to May 2022, and also held the position of Senior Director of Global Human Resources from May 2015 to February 2020. Before joining Fluidigm, they worked as a Senior Talent Management and Organization Development Consultant at Intuitive Surgical from 2014 to 2015. Philip Velez has also held various roles in human resources and business development at companies such as Allergan, MAP Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Allergan), Theravance Biopharma US, Inc., Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, COR Therapeutics, Inc. (acquired by Millennium Pharmaceuticals), and Kingston.

Philip Velez completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at UC Irvine in 1993 and later obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Golden Gate University in 2003.
