Blockchain Intelligence Engineer at Coin Metrics

Mudabbir Kaleem began their career as a Software Engineer at Mentor Graphics, working on USB subsystems within the connectivity team. Mudabbir was responsible for incorporating new features and functionalities of the USB protocol into the USB system stack and the USB subsystem of Nucleus RTOS. After working at Mentor Graphics for two years, Mudabbir joined Afiniti as a Software Engineer, where they were a part of the System Integration and Deployment team. Mudabbir worked closely with one of Afiniti's largest clients, overseeing the development, deployment, and support of Afiniti's solutions on various client environments. In 2020, Mudabbir joined the University of Houston as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing their research on blockchain systems, smart contracts, and decentralized consensus. Mudabbir is currently involved in research related to event-driven smart contract execution, smart contract security, and oracle networks on blockchains. Most recently, Mudabbir joined Coin Metrics as a Blockchain Intelligence Engineer in 2021.

Mudabbir Kaleem completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) between 2011 and 2015. Following this, between 2019 and 2021, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
