Stefan Klemm

Stefan Klemm has over 30 years of work experience in technology and data analysis roles. Stefan is currently serving as the VP of Quality and Reliability at Coin Metrics since July 2021, where they are responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's products and services. Prior to this, Stefan worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Coin Metrics from May 2021 to July 2021.

Before joining Coin Metrics, Stefan worked at Refinitiv as the Head of Enterprise Content Agility Technology from October 2018 to April 2020. At Refinitiv, they were in charge of leading the technology team responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise content.

Stefan also held multiple roles at Thomson Reuters, a parent company of Refinitiv, starting in 2008. Stefan served as the Head of Content Ingestion and Database Technology from January 2017 to October 2018, where they oversaw the design and operation of hardware and software systems for collecting and distributing financial reference and pricing content. Prior to that, they were the Head of Technology for Bulk Feed Products from February 2016 to January 2017, managing key interdepartmental initiatives.

Stefan's career at Reuters began in 2005, where they worked as a Technical Director leading technology teams in building hardware and software systems for fixed income reference and pricing content. Stefan managed approximately 100 direct reports and was responsible for delivering automated data collection and specialized utilities for data maintenance.

In their early career, Stefan worked as a Technical Director/Architect at Bridge/Reuters from 2000 to 2004, overseeing software development for fixed income reference data. Before that, they served as a Development Manager at EJV L.P./Bridge from 1997 to 2000 and as a Software Engineer at EJV L.P. from 1995 to 1997.

Stefan's earliest work experience includes being a Senior Scientist at Higher Dimension Research from 1994 to 1995 and at the Minnesota Supercomputer Center, Inc. from 1989 to 1994. At the Minnesota Supercomputer Center, they provided marketing and sales support and collaborated with scientists and software developers on molecular animation software. Stefan also worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Notre Dame from 1987 to 1989, where they performed computational research in solid-state physics and managed the research computer lab.

Throughout their career, Stefan has demonstrated strong leadership skills, managed large teams, and led complex technological initiatives.

Stefan Klemm's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics and Mathematics from Kent State University. Stefan then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Physics from the same institution. Finally, Stefan completed their educational journey by earning a Ph.D. in Physics from Kent State University as well.
