Javier Perez has a long history of work experience in a variety of roles. From 2022 to present, they have worked as a Customer Experience at CoinTracker. Prior to this, they were a User Ops at Stripe from 2016 to 2022. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Search Quality Analyst at Google, where they led a multi-language anti-abuse market team of 8 Individual Contributors and was accountable for the French and Italian web-spam team's quarterly goals, strategic project planning, and resources allocation efficiency. Javier also voiced Google Search in Spanish for Google Search Quality, managed the Spanish-language Google Webmaster Forum and Blog. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Fraud Investigations Specialist - Law Enforcement liaison at eBay / PayPal Global Asset Protection Team, where they mitigated fraud and risk through proactive criminal investigations and reported these to European Law Enforcement & Government Agencies for prosecution. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as an Environmental Researcher at One51 plc, where they supported the company board and CEOs of Member Companies in the development of their business through researching business opportunities. Finally, from 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Technical Mentor at Xerox, where they designed work procedures to ensure customer satisfaction, increased the knowledge and skills of remote technical agents, and provided coaching, training and mentoring to remote agents.

Javier Perez received their BSc in Environmental Engineering from Universidad de Valladolid between 2003 and 2007. In 2006, they completed an Erasmus program at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). In 2011, they obtained a Diploma in Project Management from Dublin Business School.
