We are in search of a Facilities and IT Lead, someone with technical expertise and a keen interest in IT infrastructure and facility management. This role is crucial for stabilizing our current setups and developing efficient processes to make repairs and upgrades swift and painless for the entire team.

As a member of our team, you'll be the single point of contact between Cobot and our IT and facilities suppliers/contractors. You'll collaborate with our teams in Santa Clara and Seattle to execute necessary repairs and upgrades, stepping in hands-on to keep things moving smoothly.

This role is located at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Robust IT Infrastructure: Oversee IT infrastructure including upgrades, troubleshooting, and network management.
  • Vendor Management: Manage IT and facilities vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective services.
  • IT Support and Asset Management: Provide IT support for wifi issues, troubleshooting various devices, and manage IT assets including devices, monitors, and cables.
  • Security and Access Control: Manage security systems and access controls for the office.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT and facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Hands-On Problem Solving: Step in to address urgent IT or facilities issues when necessary, diagnosing and resolving problems on-site.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT management with some facilities management experience.
  • Proficiency in managing IT and/or facilities suppliers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in budget management and vendor coordination.
  • Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team.
  • Willing to travel as needed (likely no more than twice quarterly)
  • Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Technical expertise in both IT and facilities management.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in Santa Clara, CA. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
