John Schroeder, MBA, CISSP

John Schroeder, MBA, CISSP has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. John began their career in 1989 as an Accountant/System Administrator for CWP Enterprises, Inc. In 1990, they moved to Millikan and Co in a similar role. From 1991 to 1994, they were the Data Processing Supervisor for Hudson Tool and Die/JSJ Corporation. In 1994, they became the MIS Supervisor for Trilectron Industries, Inc. and in 1995, they were promoted to Sr. Network Administrator/Programmer for VICO Technologies. From 1998 to 2003, they were the IT Manager for Reptron/Kbyte (acquired by Kimball Electronics). At Pearson from 2003 to 2016, they held two roles: Manager of Audit, Risk and Security and Manager of Data Center Operations. Finally, from 2016 to 2022, they were the Director of IT Security and Compliance for Integrated DNA Technologies. In 2022, they became the Director of IT Operations for Collabrance.

John Schroeder obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Finance from the University of Central Florida between 1985 and 1988. In 2010, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium. In 2011, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from Mount Mercy University, which they completed in 2013.
