Jayaraman Shanmugam

Jayaraman Shanmugam has over 15 years of work experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles. Jayaraman is currently working as a Lead Engineer-Identity at Collective Health since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at EBSCO Information Services as a Principal Software Engineer from May 2017 to May 2022.

Before joining EBSCO, Jayaraman worked as a Technical Lead at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company from July 2015 to April 2017. Jayaraman'srole involved developing Workshop & E3D Assessments, a new service product for students to take assessments. Jayaraman was responsible for server-side development using Java, Spring MVC, JSON, JBoss Wildfly, MySQL, Hibernate, REST, and other technologies.

From June 2013 to June 2015, Jayaraman served as a Technical Team Lead at Citi. Jayaraman was involved in the development of a new Mobile Banking Application for Citi Bank's customers.

Prior to their tenure at Citi, they worked at Verizon as a Lead Software Engineer from February 2010 to June 2013. Jayaraman'sresponsibilities included the development and integration of Unity Adapters, critical systems in the Ordering and Billing part of Hi-Speed Internet (HSI) Connection.

Jayaraman's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at General Motors from October 2007 to February 2010, where they contributed to the development of the Convisat web portal used by GM dealers and businesses in Mexico.

Jayaraman Shanmugam completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering & Technology (ACCET) between 2004 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Directorate of Technical Education, TN, India between 2002 and 2004. Jayaraman completed their Higher Secondary education at Vivekananda Matriculation Higher Secondary School between 2000 and 2002.
