Mark L. Nowack

Mark Nowack serves as the Director of Engineering and Chair of the Math, Computer Science and Engineering Division at College of the Ozarks, where leadership has facilitated the establishment of an engineering program that aligns with the institution's academic and cultural goals. In addition, Nowack founded NK2 LLC, providing engineering and management consulting services primarily to government acquisition programs. Past experience includes roles as Consulting Engineer at Schafer Corporation, Deputy Executive Director of the USAF Scientific Advisory Board, Technical Director at the Asian Office of Aerospace Research and Development, and academic positions at the US Air Force Academy. Nowack holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
