Becky Palmer is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in supporting underserved students in their pursuit of post-secondary education. Currently serving as a Program Coordinator at College Possible since November 2021, Becky leads a team of Advising Specialists, previously managing a caseload of 440-500 first-generation students while conducting interviews and facilitating training as an Advising Specialist. Prior to this, Becky worked at Breakthrough Central Texas as an AmeriCorps Senior Leader Advisor and held various roles at College Forward, where responsibilities included mentoring and coordinating initiatives related to college access. Becky's early career included an internship with MINDPEACE, focusing on student mental health resources, and a position at Mission2Move aimed at enhancing social and emotional behavior in young learners. Becky holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of Cincinnati.
