Nancy Peter

Nancy is a retired healthcare professional who brings over 17 years of progressive healthcare experience to this interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. She was born and raised in Willowdale, Ontario and moved to the Midland/Penetanguishene area in 1988.

Prior to her retirement in 2019, Nancy was the Director of Financial Services at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health. More recently, Nancy has stepped into a number of interim roles to assist hospitals through leadership transitions, including Interim Director of Finance at Georgian Bay General Hospital in 2020, and Interim President and CEO at South Huron Hospital Association in Exeter in 2021.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Management degree through Athabasca University (BMgmt), Master's Certificate in Healthcare Leadership, and a Professional Designation in Management through the Canadian Institute of Management (C.Mgr). Nancy is also a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders, and currently working towards her CHE designation. Nancy currently sits on the Board of Directors at South Huron Hospital Association and the Governance Board at Jessica's House (Hospice).
