Paul Smith

Paul Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Paul started their career in 2000 as a Senior Scientist at Adprotech, where they conducted research and development in the field of biotechnology. Paul also led a major collaboration project with a multinational pharmaceutical company. In 2003, they joined Sensient as a Technical Manager, overseeing a pharmaceutical laboratory and managing a team of technologists. Paul played a key role in project management and served as the main technical contact for senior management and sales teams. Paul'smost recent position was at Colorcon, where they worked as a Formulation Technologies Manager. In this role, they specialized in modified release technologies and oral solid dose formulation. Paul provided technical business development support to secure new business and offered technical support and troubleshooting consultancy to customers within Europe.

Paul Smith completed their BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool, with a duration from 1991 to 1995. Paul then pursued further studies and obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology from The University of Edinburgh, from 1995 to 1999.
