Matt Okazaki

Matt Okazaki has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matt has worked as a Sr. Director of Supply Chain Operations and Planning at Colson Group, where they managed warehousing, transportation logistics, and inventory across multiple locations. Before that, they were the Head of Materials Management at Hilti Group, overseeing global demand planning and inventory strategy. At Hilti North America, they served as a Distribution Center Operations Manager, Strategic Project Manager, and Demand Planner, handling warehouse management, transportation projects, and inventory control. Matt also has experience as the President of Savage Global Consulting, where they managed consulting projects for global companies. Additionally, they have interned at Polaris Industries, Owens Corning, Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Orbital ATK, Novatek Inc, and Pacific Sintered Metals, gaining experience in procurement, production operations, manufacturing engineering, and process improvement.

Matt Okazaki has a strong education background in business and engineering. Matt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology at Brigham Young University from 2006 to 2013. In 2014, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Villanova University.

Matt continued their education at Brigham Young University, completing a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems from 2016 to 2018. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business, graduating with distinction in the top 10% of their class.

In 2019, Matt attended the IMD Executive Educational Program, where they focused on international business.
