Doug Schwartz

Doug Schwartz has extensive experience in the childcare industry. Doug most recently served as the Director of Operations at Columbia Academy LLC. Prior to this, they worked at Kiddie Academy as the Director of Operations, where they provided leadership and support to franchise owners and their Academies across the country. Doug also served as a Franchise Business Consultant, performing support visits and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Before joining Kiddie Academy, Doug worked at Knowledge Universe as a District Manager, overseeing the operations of multiple childcare centers in Maryland. Doug also served as a Center Director at the company. Prior to that, they were the Owner/Executive Director of This Way to Play and a School Age Teacher at Harbor Child Care Center. Doug began their career as a Child Life Specialist at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Doug Schwartz attended the University of Rhode Island from 1992 to 1996. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with a focus on general studies in that field.
