Beatrice Moyers

Beatrice Moyers serves as the Arts and Culture Deputy Editor at the Columbia Daily Spectator, with a background as a staff writer and responsibilities that include editing articles, collaborating with various teams, and training emerging writers. In addition, Beatrice holds the position of Center Director at the Education Policy Center of the Columbia Policy Institute, leading initiatives and assisting with research and writing for policy pieces. Previous experiences include internships at the Center for Law and Education and the U.S. Department of Education, as well as a year as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year Los Angeles, focusing on teaching and supporting students at a Title I public high school. Beatrice has also contributed as an Advising Fellow and Research Assistant in educational equity projects and has earned recognition for dedication to teaching. Beatrice's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History with a concentration in Economics from Columbia University.
