Quinn Alami

Quinn Alami is a dedicated Mechanical Engineering student at Columbia University, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Hardware Development Intern at IBM, Quinn also contributes to Columbia University Formula Racing in the Powertrain Team and the AQUAS Vehicle Design Team, focusing on drivetrain components for electric vehicles and the development of a self-powered boat for water quality monitoring, respectively. Prior experience includes a leadership role at the MIT Energy & Climate Hack, where Quinn developed an AI model for materials discovery, as well as engineering operations and marketing internships at T2EARTH LLC. Additional experience encompasses graphic design and publicity roles at WKCR 89.9 FM NY, and research under mentorship at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, leading to a recognized emission reduction proposal.
