Tristan Roca

Tristan Roca is a seasoned aerospace engineer specializing in satellite systems and platform/bus engineering. Currently serving as a System & Platform/Bus Specialist for MDA Space, Tristan focuses on the design of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations with a specific emphasis on electric orbit raising. Previously, Tristan held roles at Telesat and Global Space Consulting Ltd, where responsibilities included the procurement of geostationary satellites utilizing chemical and electric orbit raising methods, respectively. With extensive experience at SES Networks, Tristan contributed to the O3b constellation project, supporting system reviews, procurement, and launch campaigns. Career foundations include significant responsibilities at Thales Alenia Space, where Tristan engaged in contract negotiation, units purchasing, and technical troubleshooting, alongside validation of satellite systems for both LEO and GEO missions.
