Balazs Toth

Balazs Toth has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Balazs is currently working as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Combient Mix since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at IKEA Group from May 2019 to August 2022, where they held the positions of Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist.

From March 2017 to May 2019, Balazs served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Trustpilot, where they applied machine learning techniques to detect fake reviews and fraudulent user behavior. Balazs'srole involved using Python, GCP, AWS, and Graph technologies.

Before Trustpilot, they worked as a Software Developer at Tradeshift from October 2015 to February 2017, and at MyClinic A/S from September 2013 to September 2015.

In addition to their industry experience, Balazs also worked as a Teacher Assistant at the IT University of Copenhagen from September 2012 to January 2014. Balazs gained internet marketing skills as a part-time Internet Marketing professional at Symphonic Playground from February 2012 to August 2012.

Lastly, Balazs has also served as an Archeologist Assistant at the Hungarian National Museum from June 2010 to December 2010.

Balazs Toth obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Software Development from IT-Universitetet i København, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Philosophy from Eötvös Loránd University, where they studied from 2005 to 2010.
