Johan Harvard

Johan Harvard has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Johan currently holds the position of Vice President and Head of Business Practice at Combient Mix, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Programme Council Member for the Cybersecurity Master's Programme at KTH Royal Institute of Technology starting in September 2022. From August 2022, they also served as an Advisory Board Member for Digital Transformation and Technology Policy at Entreprenörskapsforum.

Before joining Combient Mix and academic organizations, Johan worked at Combient as the Director of Relationship Management and Head of Cyber Security Services from June 2019 to June 2023. Johan'sresponsibilities included driving strategic initiatives, providing advisory services, and working on digital transformation and change management. Johan also worked on various areas such as applied Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Smart Manufacturing.

Prior to Combient, Johan served at Regeringskansliet, Näringsdepartementet from May 2014 to May 2019 as Deputy Director. In this role, they led the Swedish Government's work on Artificial Intelligence, developed policies, coordinated ministries, and managed the Government's Innovation Partnership Programme for Connected Industry and New Materials. Johan was also responsible for the Government's Strategy for Smart Industry.

In addition, Johan held the position of Vice Chair at OECD Working Party for SMEs and Entrepreneurship from October 2014 to August 2015. Johan contributed to areas such as access to finance, innovation, access to markets, employment, and regulation.

Earlier in their career, Johan worked as a Senior Analyst/Project Manager at Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis from May 2011 to August 2014. Johan conducted consultancy projects for national and international clients and managed teams.

Prior to that, Johan worked as a Management consultant at Rambøll Management Consulting from September 2007 to April 2011. Johan managed various consultancy projects, leading multinational teams and working with clients on different timeframes.

Overall, Johan Harvard has a broad range of experience in leadership, policy development, innovation, strategic planning, and consultancy in various industries.

Johan Harvard completed their MSc degree in Political Science, Economics, and Statistics from Umeå University, from the year 2003 to 2008. In 2006, they also participated in an Erasmus program in Political Science at Sciences Po Lyon - Institut d'Etudes Politiques. Johan further enhanced their language skills by attending Alliance Française de Lyon for a French language course.

In addition to their formal education, Johan also obtained certifications. In June 2021, they completed the Elements of AI certification from Linköping University. Furthermore, in April 2014, they attained a Statement of Accomplishment for Statistical Learning from Stanford University Online.
