Chief Executive Officer at Comcare

Greg Vines has a varied and extensive work experience history. Greg most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer at Comcare starting in April 2023. Prior to that, Greg held a high-level position as the Deputy Director General at the International Labour Organization (ILO), Geneva, from October 2012 to April 2023. In this role, they were responsible for operational, governance, and programmatic policy planning and delivery, as well as representing the ILO across the United Nations and multilateral system.

Greg's earlier career includes positions as Deputy Secretary at the Department of Innovation, Industry & Regional Development, State Services Commissioner for the Tasmanian Government, and Trade Union Leadership roles at the State Public Services Federation. Greg also served as an Employer Advocate at the State Electricity Commission of Victoria.
