Phil Morgan

Phil Morgan has a long and varied work experience. Phil began their career in 1998 working as a Developer and Consultant at Phil Morgan Design, where they developed transactional and brochure websites for clients in multiple industries. In 2003, they worked as an Advertising and Production Co-ordinator at POL Publications, where they co-ordinated print files through the publishing process and designed a web-based Advertising Booking System. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at Woolworths Homeshop & GreenGrocer.com.au, where they were the Web Manager and was responsible for the online product, user experience, and development. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Woolworths Group, where they were an Online Project Manager and IT Business Account Manager. In 2012, they worked as a Consultant for The Playhouse Group Pty Ltd. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Jaxsta | Official Music Credits, where they were the Chief Information Officer and Product Director. In 2020, they founded Metabetta, where they provided multi-disciplinary expertise from business, architecture, code and process reviews to research, documentation and development. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at Comestri.

Phil Morgan's education history includes completing a Master of Commerce at The University of Sydney Business School from 2003 to 2006, with majors in Marketing, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. Phil also completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney from 1999 to 2003, with majors in Philosophy, Government and International Relations & Gender Studies. Their educational background also includes an HSC from Fort Street High School from 1993 to 1998. Additionally, Phil has obtained certifications such as an Inventor - Patent Application - Data Deduplication and Data Merging from IP Australia in March 2020, a Master of Commerce from the University of Sydney in 2006, and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020.
