Michael Laird has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Michael served as the President and CEO of Froedtert Health St. Josephs Hospital, where they successfully integrated the hospital into a multi-hospital academic healthcare system. Michael also held the position of President at Aurora Medical Center Grafton and Aurora Medical Center Hartford, where they were responsible for the strategic, operational, and fiscal performance of multiple medical centers. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital and Pana Community Hospital. Additionally, Michael has experience in consulting and management services as the Managing Partner of Laird Consulting and Management Services. Michael started their career as an Assistant Administrator at St. Josephs Hospital and St. Nicholas Hospital.

Michael Laird received their Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Saint John's University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Michael later pursued a Master of Hospital Administration degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Xavier University from 1986 to 1988.
