Brittany Horne

Brittany Horne's work experience includes multiple roles in various organizations.

In 2022, they joined Boss Babe Network as an Advisory Board Member. The company is a lifestyle brand that aims to empower women professionally.

Also in 2022, they became the Director of the Executive Office at Common App, a platform for college application submission.

From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Program Officer, College and Career Initiative at Indiana Youth Institute.

Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Indiana Commission for Higher Education. Brittany served as the Director of Outreach from 2021 to 2021 and as the Postsecondary Outreach and Career Transitions Manager from 2017 to 2021.

Brittany also worked at DePauw University as an Internship Coordinator & Adviser at The Kathryn F. Hubbard Center for Student Engagement from 2016 to 2017.

From 2014 to 2015, they worked at Indiana University Bloomington as a Graduate Assistant at the Career Development Center and as a Graduate Practicum Student at the IU Office of Scholarships.

In 2015, they were a Full-Time Graduate Assistant at DePauw University's The Kathryn F. Hubbard Center for Student Engagement.

From 2011 to 2015, they worked at IUPUI in various roles including Program Coordinator Assistant for the 21st Century Scholars Success Program, Undergraduate Research Assistant, and Peer Mentor for the Twenty-first Century Scholars Success Program.

In 2014, they were a Communications/Marketing Intern at Indiana Commission for Higher Education.

Lastly, from 2012 to 2014, they served as the Vice President/Event Coordinator at the National Association of Black Journalists-Indy (NABJ-Indy).

Brittany Horne obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis from 2010 to 2014. During the same period, they also earned a Certificate in Public Relations from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

From 2014 to 2016, Brittany pursued a Master's Degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at Indiana University Bloomington.

In 2020, they attended Florida Atlantic University - College of Business for a Certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

Additionally, Brittany has obtained several certifications. In May 2021, they completed a "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate" from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. Furthermore, in May 2020, they acquired the certifications of "Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program" and "Rolling out a DIBs Training Program in Your Company" from LinkedIn.
