Cynthia Meise Leon

Cynthia Meise Leon currently serves as System Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at CommonSpirit Health, a position held since June 2019, focusing on System Services and National Business Lines. Previous roles include Vice President of Legal, Transactions (M&A) and Tax at CHI from November 2007 to June 2019, and Tax Director at CHI. Before that, Cynthia worked as Director of Tax at WTAS and Senior Tax Manager at KPMG US. Cynthia is pursuing a Master of Laws in Health Law at Loyola University Chicago, expected to complete in 2025, and holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Pepperdine Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Temple University.
