Amy Ward

Amy Ward is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance. Currently serving as Special Counsel at Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation since May 2022, Amy previously held key roles including Chief Governance, Risk & Compliance and Company Secretary at Spirit Super, as well as General Counsel & Company Secretary at MTAA Super. Earlier experience includes Executive Manager of Governance, Risk & Compliance at AvSuper and various legal positions at DLA Piper, ASIC, and Gadens. Amy holds a Bachelor of Laws from UNSW and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Sydney, in addition to a Graduate Diploma of Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia.
