Michael Barrett

Michael Barrett is currently the VP of Corporate Operations at CTDI. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Supply Chain Executive at West Marine from November 2019 to October 2020. Before West Marine, Barrett was the President and CEO of Haines from January 2017 to December 2018.

Throughout their career, Barrett has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to improving the organizations they have been a part of. At Haines, they facilitated the creation of the company’s vision, mission, and values. Michael also solidified relationships with key suppliers and created an eCommerce Department. In addition, Barrett led the creation of a national flooring brand and improved decision-making capabilities through the creation of an Organization Development Program.

Barrett has also been successful in stabilizing revenue deterioration and improving customer engagement. Michael achieved this by engineering new sales deployment and sales commission plans. Michael also visited Top 25 suppliers every year to build solid relationships and prevent supplier loss.

In their current role at CTDI, Barrett is responsible for leading the company’s operations. Michael is committed to ensuring that CTDI runs smoothly and efficiently so that it can continue to provide quality products and services to its customers.

Michael Barrett completed a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Auburn University before completing an Implementing Corporate Strategy program from The Wharton School.

Their manager is Brian Parsons, COO & Vice President. They work with and Barry Young - VP, Mobility Operations.
