Director, Community Boost Accelerator at Community Boost

Eric Linssen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Eric is currently the Co-Founder of Demand Collective, a community for demand marketers. Eric also works as a Product Manager at Community Boost, where they have contributed to the development and improvement of a nonprofit marketing accelerator.

Previously, Eric worked as a Demand Gen & Growth Consultant at MarketerHire, where they provided marketing consultation services to startups and small businesses. Eric achieved significant wins, such as repositioning a company and helping them close their first five customers, as well as scaling a new product line without any marketing spend.

Before that, Eric co-founded a digital marketing agency called Grom Digital, where they served as the Chief Digital Strategist. Eric helped small businesses and startups grow using paid ads. Additionally, they founded Airmentor, a mentorship marketplace connecting college marketing students with vetted mentors.

Eric also gained experience as the Marketing Lead at Solipay, where they successfully scaled monthly active users (MAU) by 260% and played a key role in customer research, positioning, and messaging. Eric conducted experiments to increase retention rates.

Prior to that, Eric worked at Community Boost Consulting in various roles, including Demand Generation, Digital Marketing Independent Contractor, and Digital Marketing Intern. In these roles, they executed demand generation strategies, managed significant advertising spend, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive results.

Eric also has internship experience at NeVap, where they worked as a Product Management Intern, and at Cayenne Clothing, where they served as a Marketing Intern. Additionally, they have worked as a Surf Instructor for Special Needs Children at AquaPros Swim School, coordinating daily camp activities and providing a positive experience for the campers.

Eric Linssen obtained their education from multiple institutions. From 2012 to 2016, they attended Francis Parker School. Eric then enrolled at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Marketing with an Entrepreneurship and Real Estate Double Minor. Eric graduated Magna Cum Laude from Santa Clara University. In 2018, they participated in a semester exchange program at the University of Otago, focusing on Entrepreneurship. Additionally, Eric briefly attended UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2015. Eric holds a Google Ads Search Certification obtained in April 2022.
