Executive Vice President at Community Coalition

Aurea Montes-Rodriguez has a long history of working with Community Coalition. Aurea started in 1997 as a Youth/Parent Organizer and then moved up to various roles such as Development Coordinator, Development Director, and Associate Director between 1999 and 2009. Since 2009, they have held the positions of Vice President of Organizational Growth and Executive Vice President.

Aurea Montes-Rodriguez completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Spanish Literature from UCLA in 1997. Aurea then pursued their Master in Social Welfare (M.S.W.) from UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, specializing in Child Welfare and Macro Practice, from 1997 to 1999.
