Casey Dwyer

Legal Intern - Housing Unit at Community Legal Services of Philadelphia

Casey Dwyer is a legal intern in the SSI Unit at Community Legal Services, beginning in May 2023. Previously, Dwyer worked as a paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice from October 2019 to May 2022, where responsibilities included assisting with investigations of potential FCPA violations, preparing court filings, and leading the production of government materials for discovery, earning the AAG Award for Exceptional Service in 2020. Dwyer's volunteer experience includes aiding low-income immigrants with naturalization applications at the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center. Additional roles include a content analyst and senior research associate at Hanover Research, a business honors intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission focusing on China-related regulations, and an undergraduate intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. Dwyer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Michigan and is currently attending Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law.
