Amanda Dunker

Health Policy Director at Community Service Society of New York

Amanda Dunker has a solid work history, beginning in 2008 with their role as an Americorps Vista at Literacy Volunteers of Illinois. In 2010, they interned as a Policy Intern for Toni Preckwinkle for Cook County Board President. Amanda continued their internship work in 2011 at Illinois Partners for Human Service as a Policy Intern and at the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority as a Research and Analysis Intern. Amanda joined the National Governors Association in 2011 as a Senior Policy Analyst, where they worked until 2015. Since then, they have been working at the Community Service Society of New York, holding the positions of Senior Policy Associate, Health Initiatives, and currently serving as the Health Policy Director, beginning in January 2022.

Amanda Dunker completed their Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies at the University at Buffalo from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Public Policy at the University of Chicago from 2009 to 2011.
