The Role

CompanyCam is hiring a Director of Corporate Strategy to join our Operations team! The Director of Corporate Strategy will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive the long-term growth and success of the company, including oversight of the quarterly business planning process. This role will collaborate with leadership to set strategic priorities, establish goals, and monitor progress toward achieving corporate objectives. In this job you will...

  • Develop and refine CompanyCam’s corporate strategy in alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and long-term objectives.
  • Lead CompanyCam’s quarterly business planning process, working closely with senior leadership to define strategic priorities and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and input for business planning, including developing processes and communication plans to ensure the right teams have informed involvement.
  • Partner closely with our Chief Operating Officer to ensure effective execution of CompanyCam’s corporate strategy.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates to the Executive Team and stakeholders, and making adjustments as needed to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  • Partner with other leaders to conduct and regularly review comprehensive analysis of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape to identify potential risks for strategic initiatives.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and external factors that may impact CompanyCam's strategic direction.
  • Foster a culture of strategic thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement in business planning and execution.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units and functional teams to ensure alignment with and execution of corporate strategy.
  • Develop trusting relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, managers, and employees, fostering collaborative interactions and understanding of business needs.

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • Have 3 or more years in corporate strategy, management consulting, or strategic planning roles, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Be a strategic thinker with a forward-looking mindset and have the ability to anticipate future opportunities and challenges.
  • Have strong analytical skills and ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies.
  • Be results-oriented with the ability to creatively problem solve.
  • Have strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize & handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Be able to travel to HQ on a quarterly basis at a minimum.
  • Reside permanently and currently in the U.S. Sorry, we're not hiring outside the U.S. at this time even if you're willing to work during US time zones.

It'd be nice if you...

  • Have an MBA or advanced degree.
  • Have experience working within a corporate setting.
  • Reside permanently and currently in Lincoln, Nebraska or the surrounding metro area.

Compensation: This is a salaried position at CompanyCam.Our starting salary is $130,000 and is based on experience.  We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
