Damian Austin

Damian Austin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries, including retail and consultancy. Damian began their career as a Project Manager at Welwyn Garden City in 2000 before moving on to First Quench (Threshers) as a Corporate Business Development Manager. In 2002, Damian became an Area Business Manager at Threshers and later held the same role at Wine Rack. Damian then joined Thorntons PLC, where they held various roles including Head of Retail Operations, Head of Cafe Thorntons, and Head of Cafe & Retail Operations. From 2010 to 2011, Damian worked as a Retail Operations Manager at WWRD UK Ltd, followed by a brief stint as a Retail Consultant at Damian Austin Consultancy. In 2012, they became the UK Retail Sales Manager at Krispy Kreme UK and also started their own business, babyluv, where they serve as the Owner. Damian's most recent position is as the Head of Operations at Compass Group UK & Ireland since 2016.
