Amitabh Coomar

Amitabh Coomar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Amitabh started their career in the Indian Army, where they held several assignments and reached the rank of Major. After their military service, they joined ITC Limited as a Branch Manager in the marketing department. Amitabh then advanced to Regional Sales Manager and eventually became the Divisional Manager for Brand Marketing and Customer Marketing in the Personal Care Division. Amitabh then joined gojavas as the CEO before moving on to Bata India Limited as the VP and Head of Non Retail Business. Their most recent position is with Olam, where they served as the Senior VP and Business Head for Olam's Nutrifoods Ghana Ltd., as well as the Business Head for the Olam & Sanyo Foods JV in West Africa. Amitabh also held the role of Vice President and Business Head for Packaged Foods at Olam.

Amitabh Coomar completed a one-year full-time MBA program, known as a PGDBM, at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 2007-2008. Prior to that, they attended the Indian Military Academy in 1994-1995 and the National Defence Academy from 1991 to 1994. In 1990-1991, they obtained their AISCE degree from Army Public School Dagshai, specializing in English.
