Sean Spillane Fih

Sean Spillane has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sean is currently the Global Vice President Operations for Citadel at Compass Group USA, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, Sean worked for Compass Group USA as the Regional Director for Restaurant Associates at UBS from June 2016 to October 2021. In this role, they led a team of directors and associates, driving operational aspects of managed services and implementing process improvements.

Before their time at Compass Group USA, Sean worked at BlueprintCX as a Director from July 1999 to January 2017, where they focused on customer experience and service design in the hospitality sector. Sean also held a consultant role at BlueprintCX from June 2010 to November 2013.

Sean also has experience working as a Management Consultant at Bridgewater Associates from November 2013 to February 2016, where they designed and implemented initiatives to improve facilities services customer experience. Sean was a Consultant Program Director for Workplace Services Design & Implementation at NatWest from April 2008 to June 2010.

Additionally, Sean worked in consultant roles at various companies including Restaurant Associates, Macdonald Hotels, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Resource Group, and Compass Group. At Compass Group, they served as a UK Program Leader and later as a Program Leader for Hotel and Training Facilities services in India.

Sean Spillane FIH earned a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Tourism Management from Ulster University between 1987 and 1990. In 2011, they attended the General Managers Program at Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration.
