Tracy Parkin

Tracy Parkin has extensive work experience in various roles related to instructional content design, UX design, and technical writing. Tracy is currently working as an Instructional Content Designer/Writer at CompIntelligence, Inc. since November 2019. Prior to this, they provided contract UX design and technical writing services to companies like AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, Subway, and The Walt Disney Company through their own company, Illuminating Information, from November 2002 to November 2019. At The Walt Disney Company, Tracy worked as a Sr. UX Designer, collaborating with a local and international team to create web interfaces for ESPN enterprise applications. Tracy also has experience as a Sr. User-Centered Design Engineer at Engyro, Sr. Technical Writer at NeuVis, and Sr. User Interface Engineer and Sr. Technical Writer at Hyperion Solutions. Tracy's early career includes working as a Technical Writer at UPS, where they wrote user documentation and helped with software testing and design for various systems.

Tracy Parkin began their education in 1986 at Boston University, where they studied Manufacturing Engineering until 1988. Following this, they transferred to Western Connecticut State University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Writing Option) from 1988 to 1990. After completing their degree in English, Tracy returned to Western Connecticut State University and obtained another Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, which took place from 1990 until 2000.
