Michelle Lim has a diverse work experience background. Michelle started their career as a GIS Technician at the USC Archaeology Research Center, where they conducted archaeological site mapping and visualizations using ArcGIS. Michelle then served as a Service Member at Youth Villages through AmeriCorps, providing tutoring and support to youth with complex trauma and behavioral difficulties.

Moving into the tech industry, Michelle worked as a Digital Engagement Programs Assistant at the Denver Art Museum, where they researched and implemented technology to enhance learning experiences in the galleries. Michelle later became a STEAM Educator as a self-employed professional, focusing on providing educational services in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Michelle's passion for education led their to become a Program Director at STEMblazers, where they organized STEM workshops for young women in public schools and developed curriculum and digital systems. Michelle also worked as an AP Computer Science Teacher at DSST Public Schools, teaching a curriculum that covered data representation, encryption, algorithms, and JavaScript app development.

In their recent software engineering roles, Michelle worked at various companies such as Hotel Engine, Vouch.io, and Composer. At these companies, they utilized their technical skills to develop software and contribute to projects. Notably, they were also an Installation Artist at mmmanyfold dev studio, showcasing their creativity in addition to their technical expertise.

Throughout their career, Michelle has demonstrated a strong commitment to education, technology, and creative problem-solving. Michelle has effectively combined their skills and experience to contribute to various organizations in different sectors.

Michelle Lim attended Stuyvesant High School in 2009. After completing high school, they went on to study at the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2013. At USC, Michelle pursued a double major in Narrative Studies and Interdisciplinary Archaeology, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.
