T.J. Shields

T.J. Shields, MS RD LDN PMP is the VP of Professional Services at Computrition, Inc. Prior to his current role with the company, T.J. was the Director of Project Management, a Project Manager, and an Implementation Manager, successfully training and leading more than 75 different customers to their go-live with the Hospitality Suite or SuitePoint! software solutions. Before Computrition, T.J. worked primarily in acute care in a variety of roles, including clinical dietitian, patient services manager supervising diet office and trayline operations, clinical nutrition manager, and site foodservice manager.

T.J. earned his B.S. in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Systems from Northern Illinois University (NIU) and went on to Saint Louis University to complete his Dietetic Internship and become a Registered Dietitian. Following his internship, T.J. returned to NIU and completed his M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics. For the past 10+ years, T.J. has also taught a Normal Nutrition course to budding nursing students as an adjunct faculty member at Joliet Junior College.
