Dave B.

Dave B. has a diverse and extensive work experience in compliance and international trade roles. Dave currently serves as the Vice President of Compliance at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Ethics & Compliance at Nammo AS.

From 2012 to 2018, Dave B. was the President/Consultant of Leading Edge Associates LLC, where they provided value-add compliance and strategic/operational business consulting services.

Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Global Trade Compliance at Meritor from 2008 to 2012, overseeing trade compliance operations for 90 worldwide site locations.

From 2005 to 2008, Dave B. served as the Director of Global Trade Compliance at Bell Helicopter Textron, managing the export and import compliance program for 25 worldwide sites.

Their previous experience includes serving as the Senior Manager of International Trade Compliance at Honeywell Aerospace in 2004, and as the Director of International Trade Compliance at LORAL Space & Communications from 2001 to 2004.

Dave B. began their career at ITT Aerospace/Communications and ITT Cannon in 1995, where they held the role of Manager of International Contracts and Trade Compliance/Program Manager. In this role, they supervised international business teams, advised management on regulatory issues, and ensured import/export compliance.

Throughout their career, Dave B. has demonstrated expertise in compliance, strategic planning, due diligence assessments, training programs, policy/procedure drafting, licensing/classification initiatives, and general business practice reviews.

Dave B. has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Law and International Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Dave also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the same institution.
