John Douglas

John Douglas has over a decade of experience in the wind energy sector, currently serving as the O&M Manager at Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses since December 2015, where management of turbine and Balance of Plant work across multiple wind farms in South Dakota and Montana is undertaken. Previously, John held the position of Facility Manager at BP Wind Energy from November 2010 to December 2015, overseeing safe operations and financial performance of the power plant, as well as coordinating technical investigations in collaboration with the engineering department. Earlier in their career, John was the Deputy Facility Manager at BP Wind Energy, focusing on maintenance activities and regulatory compliance. John began their career in the industry at Clipper Windpower, performing operations and maintenance on 2.5 MW wind turbines. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University, completed in 2009.
