Madeleine Thompson has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Madeleine started their career at the Center for Social Development in 2023 as a Communications Research Assistant. Prior to that, they worked as a Policy & Advocacy Intern at VOYCE St. Louis. In 2021, they joined Concordance as an Enrollment & Intake Coordinator and later became an Administrative Fellow. Before that, they served as a Good Shepherd Volunteer at Collier Youth Services and as a Junior High Theology Teacher at GOOD SHEPHERD MONTESSORI SCHOOL INC. Madeleine also gained experience as a Temporary Administrative Assistant at the University of Notre Dame and as a Vision Master Mentor at the McGrath Institute for Church Life. In addition, they worked as a Student Assistant at Notre Dame Center for Social Concerns: Seminars and as a Vision Mentor in Faith at Notre Dame McGrath Institute for Church Life.
Madeleine Thompson has a strong educational background. From 2015 to 2019, they attended the University of Notre Dame, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Madeleine'smajor areas of study during their undergraduate years were Honors Theology, Peace Studies, and Catholic Social Tradition. Following their Bachelor's degree, Madeleine enrolled at Washington University in St. Louis, starting in 2022 and completing their studies in 2024. There, they pursued a Master of Social Work degree with a focus on Domestic Social & Economic Development.
In addition to their formal education, Madeleine has obtained several certifications. In March 2020, they completed Level 1: Responder Training and Level 2: Group Facilitator Training at First Aid Arts. These certifications demonstrate their competence in responding and facilitating group sessions. Furthermore, in August 2022, Madeleine obtained the Mandt System Student Certification from The Mandt System, showcasing their abilities in handling potentially challenging situations.
