Cyber Security Systems Engineer at Concurrent Technologies Corporation

Seth Charney has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Seth started their professional journey as a General Laborer at NORTHERN CAMBRIA, BOROUGH OF, where they worked from May 2016 to August 2017. Following that, they worked as a Warehouse Specialist at McAneny Brother's Inc. for a few months in 2018. In the same year, they joined Concurrent Technologies Corporation as an Information Technology Intern, where they gained experience in password management, support via Active Directory, and configuring RSA SecurID tokens for two-factor authentication. Seth worked on providing technical assistance and support for hardware, software, network, and related services. Seth also had an opportunity to work as an Information Technology Specialist at InnoSource from October 2020 to June 2021. In this role, they were responsible for configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, software, and printers, as well as managing the IT team's daily workload. Later, in 2021, Seth joined L3Harris Technologies as an IT Security Associate, where they administered and supported file services, proprietary data, and business applications. Seth resolved file service access issues, managed privileged user accounts, and provided overall IT security support. Currently, they hold the position of a Cyber Security Systems Engineer at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, starting in March 2022.

Seth Charney completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma from Northern Cambria High School from the year 2013 to 2017. Seth then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2020.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Seth has also acquired several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In May 2020, they obtained the "Information Security Basics" certification from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. Later, in June 2022, they acquired the "CompTIA Security+ ce Certification" from CompTIA. Seth has also received certifications in various IBM courses, including "IBM Cloud Essentials V3" in December 2022 and "IBM Blockchain Essentials V2" in October 2022. Most recently, in February 2023, they became a "Certified CMMC Professional (CCP)" through The Cyber AB institution.
