Heidi Spaulding

Heidi Spaulding has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent role was as a Support Services Officer at Conestoga College, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Administrative Officer in the Transformative Quantum Technologies department at the Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo from July 2019 to September 2022. Heidi also served as a Training Officer at Bruce Power from April 2018 to July 2019.

Before these positions, Heidi worked at Georgian College in different roles including Operations Manager at the Centre for Marine Training & Research from June 2016 to April 2018, Academic Officer from December 2012 to June 2016, NFT Faculty from September 2013 to December 2015, and Academic Program Assistant from August 2010 to December 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Student Affairs Officer at Lakehead University from June 2009 to August 2010. Heidi's early career included roles at General Motors as a Learning Support Associate (Co-op Placement) from September 2007 to December 2007 and at Niagara College Canada as a Graduate Job Coach (Co-op Placement) from May 2007 to August 2007.

Heidi Spaulding completed their Master's Degree in Education - Post-Secondary Studies from Memorial University of Newfoundland between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Teaching & Training Adults Certificate from Georgian College in 2010. In 2008 and 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Administration degree from Lakehead University. Heidi also holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources from Niagara College, which they achieved from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Heidi Spaulding obtained several certifications. Heidi became a Certified Human Resources Professional from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in November 2020. In May 2017, they received Joint Health & Safety Committee Certification Part 1 & 2 from Workplace Safety & Prevention Services.
