Marco Macedo

Marco Macedo has over 20 years of work experience in various industries. In 2021, they became the Chief Operating Officer of Conexa Saúde. In 2020, they took a personal sabbatical. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Pearson, where they held the roles of HR VP for Global Product (US), HR VP for Growth Markets (Latin America, Middle East, South Africa, India and China), and HR VP Brazil + Org Development for Growth Markets. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at Multi Holding as the Executive Director - People & Management and Franchisee Training. From 2004 to 2013, they worked at Cervejaria Ambev in various roles, including Head of Business Unit, Regional Manager - People and Management System, Market Intelligence Manager - Consumer Insights, Sales Manager, Trade Marketing Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, and Global Trainee Program. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at Telemar as a Network Specialist. In 2000, they worked as an intern at Corporativos Vivo Empresas.

Marco Macedo has a long and varied educational background. Marco earned a Graduation in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense in 1998-2002, followed by an Msc in Production Engineering from the same university in 2003-2005. In 2008, they completed an MBA Executivo from COPPEAD UFRJ, and in 2009 they finished a Bootcamp in Marketing Planning from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. Most recently, in 2020, they completed a Board of Directors Development Program from Fundação Dom Cabral.
