David West Smith

David West Smith has extensive experience in the finance and technology sectors. David has held various roles since 2002, beginning with their role as Founder of Global Emerging Finance and Technology. From 2008 to 2016, they were the Director of Americas Advisor Business Strategy at Rapid Addition Limited, where they specialized in financial messaging products focused on the FIX and FAST Protocols. In 2018, they joined the Board at Flatlay, a social marketplace and publishing platform. In 2019, they became the Director at Conexus, a company that specializes in Composable Engineering Design. In 2021, they were the Director at Neu.ro, a Machine Learning platform, and at EXTRAPOLATE LTD. Additionally, they are currently a Strategic Advisor at Neolithics and a Services and Solutions Executive at ET Solutions GmbH.

David West Smith has an extensive education history. David obtained an MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in Finance and International Business from 1990 to 1991. From 1984 to 1988, they earned a BA in Social Anthropology from Eckerd College. In 1986 and 1987, they completed Bachelors Studies in Economics and EU Law at Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg. David also studied Social Anthropology and Spanish Studies at Universidad de Granada.
